[DENTON, Texas– April 12, 2019] O’Reilly Hospitality Management LLC is excited to announce that Houlihan's Restaurant + Bar in Denton, Texas, located at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Denton Convention Center, has been awarded LEED Gold. LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating system, developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), is the foremost program for buildings, homes, and communities that are designed, constructed, maintained, and operated for improved environmental and human health performance.
LEED is a rating system devised by the U.S. Green Building Council. It is considered to be the most influential among all the evaluation standards of environmental building, green building, and building sustainability, with six key criteria in sustainable sites, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, indoor environmental quality, and innovation and design process. The number of points a project earns determines the level of LEED certification it receives. Typical certification thresholds are certified silver, gold, and platinum.
